Journey To The Boundless
Posted by Ben Sanderson on 8/9/2011 to Spirituality

Probably one of the best known figures in the self-help field is Deepak Chopra.  Deepak Chopra is an Indian-American author, public speaker, and proponent of alternative medicines (particularly mind-body), spirituality, and Ayurveda.  His has written many books on his interests, including “Journey to the Boundless”.

Deepak Chopra does not fit into the stereotype involving a crazy person trying to get others to try an ancient system of medicine.  In fact, he is a licensed endocrinologist who chose to change his path and use the mind-body connection to help others.  This family isn’t crazy either; his father is a cardiologists and his younger brother is also a doctor.

An important main message that Deepak Chopra tells involves the connection within the mind, body, and spirit.  It is possible to teach your intuition to read cues from your body, and when that occurs your mind will be nourished and you will be able to be open to all of the great possibilities that you possess.  Through doing this, you can live to be 120 years old, which is very attractive.

His book “Journey to the Boundless” teaches readers how to undergo a powerful transformation with his thorough explanations of the necessary steps.  Ultimately, the purpose of the book involves freeing the mind and spirit from the prison in which they are kept in order to find health, happiness and success.

To start this, you must first change your thoughts about the universe.  When we are young, we learn that the universe in the sky is filled with planets and galaxies.  However, Deepak Chopra attests that our own bodies are their own universe, and our universes are a spectacular and infinite as the universe in the sky.  When the reader begins through the pages of book “Journey to the Boundless”, they will discover that they are responsible for discovering their own freedom, creativity and potential.

Because you live in a democratic society, it may be easy to think that you are already free.  But the freedom that “Journey to the Boundless” discusses is the freedom from each person’s own fears, health problems and unhappiness.  Freedom is the most important thing there is; you have the freedom to do what you like to gain happiness and you are free to follow the universe inside of you to be whoever you want to be.

Through the book “The Journey to the Boundless”, you will learn about the things that keep us from finding purity in life- pure success, pure freedom, and pure joy.  Furthermore, you will also learn techniques to help you gain mental, spiritual and physical health through meditation.  You will be able to use your body’s own self-healing qualities through Ayurvedic techniques.

Considering the principles of this book stem from ancient ways of thinking, it could sound very complicated for the modern thinker.  Once you make your way through “Journey to the Boundless” by Deepak Chopra, however, you will begin to figure things out and your mind, body and spirit will open us.  The book is only $65, which makes it an essential item for you to listen to.
